Partner Spotlight: A Farm Less Ordinary |
The Pantry is thrilled to partner with A Farm Less Ordinary in the course of their mission to change the world. Check out this video for a glimpse into the impact they’re making. |

Providing fresh, nutritious food is a key part of our mission in fighting food insecurity. This summer over 40% of the food we’ve provided to guests consists of fresh fruits and vegetables. We are grateful for donations from many local farms including JK Community Farm, PEC’s Community Farm, Willowsford Farm, and A Farm Less Ordinary, that help support our mission. Do you have a green thumb and a bounty of summer produce with extra herbs, fruits, or veggies from your garden? We’re proud to be a registered AmpleHarvest.org food pantry, which means you can donate your surplus homegrown produce directly to us—and help nourish neighbors in need. Just drop off your produce at the Pantry during regular donation hours. In our commitment to sustainability, note that we pass along any fresh food that we can’t use to three local farms to feed their livestock like chickens, goats, and pigs. That means that less than 3% of the food donated to the Pantry goes to the trash! |
