Happy New Year from the Dulles South Food Pantry! |
|
|
Dear Friends, As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to respond to growing need, strengthen our operations, and ensure that families continued to have access to nutritious food during challenging times. Your support made it possible for us to show up consistently and compassionately for our neighbors in need. Together, we were able to: *Serve 3,278 unique individuals *Distribute 806,539 pounds of food *Provide 10,293 Backpack Buddies bags to LCPS students Looking ahead to the new year, we remain committed to building a stronger Pantry, deepening community connections, and stewarding our resources with care and intention.
Thank you for being an essential part of this work. We are deeply grateful for all you’ve helped make possible, and we look forward to what we can accomplish together in the year ahead. From all of us at the Dulles South Food Pantry, we wish you a happy, healthy, and fulfilling New Year. Thank you for being part of our mission to end hunger in our community. With appreciation, The DSFP Team |

| We’re thrilled to share that DSFP received a $10,000 grant through the HCA Healthcare Foundation after StoneSprings Hospital Center’s submission was selected as the Capital Division winner in their Healthy Food for Healthier Tomorrows Food and Nutrition Drive. As part of this initiative, hospital teams across HCA Healthcare’s network created food-based displays that were ultimately donated to local food banks. We are thankful to the StoneSprings Hospital team for their creativity, generosity, and commitment to supporting neighbors facing food insecurity in our community. |

| “I just wanted to thank you and send my sincere appreciation to your work. We have used every single leaf and every piece of food that was given to us. I am a single mom with 6 kids and no child support in any way. The help during these holiday months has been a blessing and I hope to give back one day. I try to keep my composure and a shred of dignity when I received help but your presence is very welcoming and full of grace. My warmest thanks to you all and the work you do.” ~recent Pantry Guest |
